Chase Randell, a graduate of Saugerties High School, has a BA in psychology from Skidmore College and a masters in education from SUNY New Paltz. As a tutor, teacher and counselor in Skidmore’s Opportunity Program, he helped hundreds of economically disadvantaged students enroll and graduate from Skidmore college. After teaching  English abroad, he returned to his hometown and has spent the last five years running land based educational programing that revolves around sustainable food growing, off-grid building, and community organizing for free in Saugerties and the surrounding area. He is thrilled to contribute to the Boys & Girls club as the Teen Coordinator with programing that revolves around developing job skills, creating pathways for teens to go to college, and building a teen led community service program in Saugerties.
