Safety is the number one priority of Boys & Girls Clubs of Ulster County, and we are doing everything possible to keep children, our staff, and volunteers protected from the COVID-19 virus. Due to the recent cases in Ulster County, we have decided to close both the Kingston and Saugerties Clubs until further notice. This decision was made to align our organization with the standard set forth by Ulster County and New York State regarding mass gatherings. During that time, we will give heightened attention to our building. We will give the club a deep clean on a regular basis to ensure that all kids, staff, and volunteers are safe when the Club reopens.

In the meantime, we are advising all our Club staff, families, and youth to continue to take precautions as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

If community members have additional questions, please contact Dan Whalen at (845) 338-8666 or dwhalen@bgclubsulstercounty.org. We will continue to update you as we know more.

Amazing Auctions

Both the Kingston and Saugerties Units, had successful auctions!!!  The Kingston Unit celebrated it’s 40th Auction held at The Chateau with the theme “The 1940’s” and raised over $72,000.  In turn, the Saugerties Unit celebrated it’s 20th Auction at Diamond Mills with the there “The Roaring 20’s” and raised over $43,000.  Much of that success was due to our phenomenal auctioneers, Bernie Gray in Kingston and Bob Siracusano and Ray Tucker in Saugerties.

The Club extends a heartfelt thank you to our auctioneers for their hard work.  Of course this could not be possible without the generous support of the local communities; whether you donated an item, attended an auction or placed an ad in the books, your support contributed to the success of both auctions.
